1764231-Umar-Quote-No-amount-of-guilt-can-change-the-past-and-no-amount-ofGood morning Y’all! I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend! I am one that could do  without Monday’s so I think a little motivation can be helpful! I hope you enjoy this quote and it means as much to you as it does to me! I guess the reason this means so much to me is, because we need to live in the present, not the past or the future!

I am looking forward to reading what your thoughts are on this quote, so please feel free to leave me a comment, I promise to respond as quickly as I can! I hope you have a great day!! Never forget I am always sending y’all LOTS of ❤love & comfort!

  1. I have learned to live by a similar philosophy in this past year. It’s a great motivational quote because there isn’t any use in feeling guilty about the past when it’s all said and done.

    • I am so glad you liked this quote! I hold it close to mind and heart because I tend to always feel guilty and it is normally about nothing I should feel guilty about. My mind works in crazy ways, but I am trying to get past that!!

  2. You always have something uplifting to say… thank-you! A quote for a quote… “Today is a gift… that is why we call it the present”… 😉

  3. That is definitely an amazing quote and I so agree with it. I only wish some of us knew how to not be consumed with guilt or worry. You know there are people out there that just have a talent for pushing your buttons and/or manipulating your thoughts. It’s sad that even people you love can torment you and control you with guilt. I ask the question, why would anyone want to hold something against you for life and have you waste your time feeling guilty. Both guilt and worry are wasted emotions. If you’re anything like the writer of this blog positivity and happy thoughts will consume you. Those emotions are both constructive and healthy. All my Love, Mom💜

    • Thank you Mom! I think we both know who you are thinking about as you read this. Sometimes in life it is better to let go of people that bring nothing but negativity into your life, even if it is family. When family brings more pain and distress to your life, things are better just eliminating them completely. I did it with those you are thinking about and I am much happy because of it!

  4. So true! It’s odd because when I was in my early 20s I felt like I was always living in the past, now I’m often living in the future, and neither are helpful! It can be really hard to focus on the here and now, but it’s all we have and we miss out on so much by now being ‘present’. I hope you have a good week ahead, Alyssa (or should I say ‘I hope you have a lovely day today in the here and now’!)  ♥

    • Thank you so much for this fabulous comment!! I am a lot like you, I used to live in the past but now I am focusing on the future. I am so bad at just focusing on the here and now! I am working on it though. I know there is no way to change the past and we can not alter our future. Focusing on the here and now is really the best way to live and will probably cause a lot less stress!!! I hope you have a great day!!!
