Happy Start to the Weekend!

Have a nice FridayGood morning and Happy Friday to y’all!! I hope your week has been great and you are looking forward to a weekend filled with all the things that bring you so much joy😊. So many of us devote so much of our precious time to our jobs, which really invades our time to enjoy life! I know some people really love their jobs❤, but there are many others that just go to work every day for a means to survive and care for families. I congratulate those individuals that are honored enough to love going to their jobs for 40 hours a week or more and do not view their job like so many other do, which is as a burden and a nuisance. But regardless if you love, like, tolerate or hate your job, we all can appreciate the weekend and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

The great things about the weekends are you do not have to worry about being somewhere on time or going to bed early enough to ensure a good night’s sleep. But honestly one of the best things about the weekend is that obnoxious and intrusive alarm clock⏰ will not make loud noises early in the morning! I have such an incredible distaste for alarm clocks, I somehow typically mange to wake before the alarm goes off, so I get to avoid that troubling sound! But it gets even worse than that! If I must heat food in the microwave, I will never allow for the beeping to go off, it sounds way too much like an alarm clock and is just irritating! Are there any noises that makes your skin crawl and drives you completely mad?

sunI hope wherever you live, you will enjoy nice weather this weekend! The sun has been playing hide and seek lately, but according to the weather channel where I live is finally anticipating some natural vitamin d this weekend and I am absolutely thrilled! I hope you have a marvelous day and a very lovely weekend! As always, I am sending y’all lots of love and comfort everyday!

Love 2

Always, Alyssa

  1. Heck, I feel so awful and guilty and useless reading about jobs (not your fault at all, it’s just a trigger for me right now) because I haven’t worked since losing my job due to ill health and my operations. I miss the challenge and how I could give back and do something good, and yet it scares me to think of looking for another job after my next surgery because of how my health has struggled so much and not knowing how I’d handle a 40 hr week with regular hours anymore. But at least I don’t need to fear the sound of the alarm clock because I never seem to sleep more than 2 hours at a time anymore!! Hahah, blessing in disguise perhaps. The sound of rustling crisp packets and chocolate wrappers can irk me, on the topic of annoying noises, especially if you’re watching a film!
Wow, that was a rant of a comment. Feel free to delete this!
Wishing you a happy and restful weekend Alyssa!!

    • Oh goodness, you have no reason at all to feel guilty for anything! You need to take care of yourself and do what is best for you ♡!
I would never delete your rants! I definitely have things I find insanely annoying! I hate with a passion gum chewing! I find it gross and extremely obnoxious! But that is a dulled down version of how I feel. I don’t want you to think I am too crazy;)!
I hope you have a delightful weekend and I want you to know how much I value your comments and valuable advice. To be honest with you, I have not been able to work full-time hours since September. I had a terrible relapse at the end of September, was on medical leave and just still don’t have it in me to return to those long hours. It has been difficult because my husband has been out of work. I do believe things will work out for the best soon though. Thank you Caz!

    • Doesn’t sound like a rant… just someone missing work. 😉 I don’t work now either but there are plenty of noteworthy things we do… so hang in there. Happy Saturday ya’ll. 🙂

  2. My alarm clock brightens a lamp gradually for about 20 minutes before the alarm goes off. My “noise” to sound instead of a beep is set to birdsong. The sound starts low and increases gradually, too.

It helps me wake up before the alarm noise in dark winter, but also is less grating when I sleep through to the chirping birds.

Mine is Philips brand and I got it at Costco. Amazon sells them too, plus similar by other makers.

Life has enough pains to be harassed daily by an inanimate object! 🙂

(I try to stop the microwave before the loud beep series, too. I’m sensitive to noise, light, touch… and all more so when pain is flaring. We all have limits.)

    • Sounds like you handle the alarm clock thing very well! Thank you for sharing this!
I agree that life has enough pains on it’s own, we definitely do not need an inanimate object causing us even more pains!!
I am extremely sensitive to noise as well, which was probably obvious. It is the little noises that are the worse, like the alarm or gum chewing!
Thank you so much for your comment. I hope your Monday went well and I hope you have a fantastic week!
