Good evening Y’all! I hope your week is going well so far! Y’all already know that I strongly believe that positive thoughts will provide positive times into our lives. I also believe that it takes a lot more energy to hold onto negative thoughts! How do you feel about that? Do you agree or disagree?
I know everyone has probably already seen this before”The Wolf You Feed”, but I find this extremely powerful. When you read this, what does it mean to you or does it mean anything at all? I know sometimes I do over think things because I am a pretty emotional person. The reason I find this so powerful is because we all tend to feed one more than the other. Personally I try to feed the good wolf more because it is more my personality and I just do not have the ability or power to feed the evil. Of course I have my bad days when I get angry and have a hard time letting go of those feeling. But, I also think it is very destructive to hold onto anger and resentment.
I received some very valuable advice from a fellow blogger today about making a doctor’s appointment really count. I hope I add this the right way, but Caz’s site Invisibly Me had some fabulous advice http://invisiblyme.com/2016/10/12/make-it-count-6-tips-for-your-next-gp-appointment/. If you have not already checked out Caz’s site, it is definitely worth checking out! Thank you again Caz for this great advice!!
I hope y’all have a lovely and relaxing evening! I always appreciate you visiting my site and I love your comments, which I do respond to just as quickly as I can. Sending y’all lots of love and comfort!
Always, Alyssa

As a carer for two I would personally say that my good days and bad days correspond to how they are feeling. I imagine that I feed the evil wolf to an extent by worrying about their health and their hospital appointments etc.

I’ve been in a similar position and can empthise with your struggle Adam. As a parent it is only natural to worry but it is important to grow your self love and self care, making time for your needs and remembering you are doing the best you can! Best wishes!

I’m so glad to follow your blog, Alyssa. I just read your profile and story. It is amazing how you are able to be so courageous in battling your disease, as well as keep so positive. I had never read the story Feed the Wolf but it is a very powerful message. I continue to strive to stop feeding the wolf. I’m a work in progress, that’s for sure!

Thank you so much for your kind comment Mandy! Your comment really meant so much to me and I do appreciate it! It is not an easy battle, but I refuse to give up and let the illness win! I am a little stubborn!
I absolutely loved the story Feed the Wolf. I just wanted to share it with as many people as I could. I am really glad you found the story positive!!!

Love it! We become which one we feed… although I think as human, we would have bad days, and I think it’s normal we embrace it.. and seek for solutions to overcome it. ❤

Yep, I definitely feed the negative too much. It can breed and proliferate and get bigger and hungrier the more you feed it. As can positivity. Great way of looking at it!
And thank you so much for sharing my post and being incredibly generous in your positive view of my blog, that means a lot to me ♥♥
I hope you have relaxing Easter weekend lovely.

I think we all tend to feed the negative a little more than we should, but at least we can acknowledge that. I honestly would never in a million years think you fed the negative. I think you are a pretty incredible person with great insight!
You are more than welcome! I happy to praise those that are as inspirational and encouraging like yourself!!
I hope you have a nice relaxing Easter weekend as well!
